4th Edition of Tea and Talk session held at School of Energy and Power Engineering

The fourth in the series of Tea and Talk session organized by the school of Energy and Power Engineering of Jiangsu University came off on Friday, 29th March 2019. The theme was “SNAP OVERVIEW OF GHANA (加纳). The talk which is mainly a platform for international postgraduate students in the school to interact, share ideas and know more about each other was established by Prof. Pan Jianfeng. Opening the session, it was re-echoed as a fact that the numerous talk sessions held so far had been of importance and that it goes a long way in helping the international postgraduate students.

Delivering his presentation, Peter Otchere a Ph.D. candidate from the School of Energy and Power Engineering, Jiangsu University gave an overview about his country of origin (Ghana). His presentation briefly highlighted the geography, national flag, the coat of arms, and the national anthem of Ghana. He also presented some famous festivals and cuisines in Ghana. He lastly projected a video which summarised all that he had delivered to the admiration of the audience.

After the presentation, there were numerous contributions and suggestions as to how to use our various rich cultures to promote and then to the benefit of our various countries as portrayed in the presentation.

The program was well coordinated by Sarah and Evans and the next in the series of the Tea and Talk session will be held in the next month.
