Since the outbreak of the pandemic on September 27, many students at the school intersect with the one who tests positive. They are distributed in 15 buildings in 9 student communities, involving 196 people in 58 dormitories. For these students, the university implements the policy of "delivering meals to your door without leaving home".

Prof. Can Kang, secretary of the party committee of the school, Mr. Jun Zhao, director of the party affairs, young teachers Qingming Dong and Yonggang Lu, counselors Zhihao Cheng and Guangyu Xuan take the initiative to join the food delivery volunteer service team at the first time. Getting up at 6 o’clock every morning, they are responsible for meal delivery. Delivering meals is a physical task. Student dormitories are distributed on different floors. Teachers deliver meals in buildings without elevators. After several trips, they sweat all over. To improve the efficiency of meal delivery, the school issues an initiative to all off-campus teachers, which receives a prompt response. 4 teachers, Aikun Tang, Ning Zhang, Jun Zheng, and Ming Luo, enter the university as the second batch of volunteers to carry out work. Many student party members and cadres also deliver meals on the premise of self-protection, opening the way from the downstairs to the student building where students intersect with the one who tests positive. "Joining the meal delivery team and doing what you can for the pandemic precaution and control is the responsibility you should do as a reserve party member," says volunteer Wenhao Zhao.

Students receive three meals a day on time and express their gratitude to the school. At the moment of the pandemic, teachers and students at the school are united to overcome difficulties together and prepare for offline learning and life.
