The predecessor of the School of Energy and Power Engineering is the Department of Power Mechanical Engineering, which was founded in 1963, one of the three earliest departments in the school. Through more than 50 years of development, the discipline system with distinctive strength and outstanding characteristics has been established. Now the school has three undergraduate majors/directions, including energy and power engineering, building environment and equipment engineering, and new energy science and engineering, as well as 7 second-level discipline master degree authorization, and 1 first-level discipline doctor degree authorization for Power Engineering and Engineering Thermophysics. There is also a post-doctoral workstation of Power Engineering and Engineering Thermophysics. |
