On May 23, the 8th Fourth Committee Meeting and Review Meeting of the Measurement and Control Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Aerodynamics was held in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu. The meeting was organized by the Measurement and Control Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Aerodynamics and co-hosted by the School of Energy and Power Engineering of Jiangsu University and the Zhenjiang Society of Mechanics. Over 70 representatives from 25 institutions, including the China Aerodynamics Research and Development Center, the Aviation Industry Aerodynamics Research Institute, the Aviation Aerodynamics Technology Research Institute, the Institute of Mechanics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, National University of Defense Technology, University of Science and Technology of China, Northwestern Polytechnical University, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and Southwest Jiaotong University, attended the meeting. Deputy Director Yan Shenggang of the Equipment Design and Testing Technology Institute of the China Aerodynamics Research and Development Center gave a speech on behalf of the supporting unit of the committee, and Vice President Li Hong of Jiangsu University gave a speech on behalf of the hosting unit. The conference specially invited Academician Le Jialing from the China Aerodynamics Research and Development Center for guidance and exchanges.

This academic seminar focused on "Advanced Testing and Industrial Monitoring," and specially invited Professor Gao Qi from Zhejiang University, Professor Peng Di from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Professor Shan Mingguang from Harbin Engineering University, Professor Liu Hailong from Jiangsu University, Professor Zhou Wu from University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, Senior Engineer Zhang Wenqing from the China Aerodynamics Research and Development Center, and Senior Engineer Zhang Guowang from the China Flight Test Research Institute to give talks and share their latest research achievements of recent years as well as their outlook on future technology development. Fourteen young scholars, including Senior Engineer Guo Jin from the Aviation Industry Aerodynamics Research Institute, were invited to give presentations. The meeting achieved substantial results and met its expected goals.
