On September 27, facing the sudden advent of the pandemic, the leadership team of the school urgently held an online meeting on epidemic precaution and control, establishing the leading group for emergency response, conveying the university’s policies in time for epidemic precaution and control, and deploying various lines of work against COVID-19. Since September 28, the epidemic precaution and control summary meeting has been held every day to understand the work condition, summarize the problems, analyze the situation, and deploy the next steps.

On the evening of the 27th, 6 teachers were stranded at the school. In the early morning of the next day, all of them joined in the volunteer service to collect nucleic acid information, maintain on-site orders, and deliver meals to students. Prof. Can Kang, secretary of the party committee of the school, immediately enters the school to lead and make overall arrangements for various tasks. All the counselors return to work, collect information, maintain the order of the nucleic acid test site, take care of students’ demands, and respond to various problems online 24 hours a day, to ensure the health and safety of 1788 students at the school.

Up to now, all 17 teachers at the school have devoted themselves to combating COVID-19. Newly recruited 11 teacher volunteers are ready to enter the school at any time. In the face of a large number of students at the school, the heavy workload, and many students intersecting with the one who tests positive, teachers at the school lift the spirit of “no fear difficulties and continue fighting”, showing the responsibility as educators.
