The university is a stop in our life journey. University life is long but short. Everyone must undergo a gradual transformation and eventually mature. To popularize psychological knowledge, care about the mental health of students, and promote students to care about themselves and others, the school successfully held a symposium on mental health in Room 1419 on the morning of May 25. Psychological committees of all grades and some student representatives participate in the symposium.
At the beginning of the activity, the counselor Ms. Yunyuan Li explains the purpose and significance of this psychological symposium, and then introduces some psychological problems and coping methods during the epidemic. She focuses on how to deal with personal adverse emotions and maintains healthy and positive conditions, hoping to attract the high attention of the students. Finally, she emphasizes that the important function of the psychological committee of each class is to play a positive role and pass on an optimistic mood to all the students. Afterwards, the members of the psychology committee discuss the psychological problems and confusions that the students encountered, including scientific research, study, life experience, and interpersonal relationships.
With this activity, a grid mechanism of counselors and psychological committee members has been formed. Through regular symposiums, we can better pay attention to the psychological state of the students, answer their questions and solve problems in time, and solve problems for the students, which plays a positive role in enriching mental health activities in our school.
