To further promote the construction of the young teachers' team at the school, enhance academic exchanges and interactions between young teachers, and create an active and open academic atmosphere, the school held the 5th "young teacher seminar". The seminar is held in two batches on December 31, 2021 and January 5, 2022. This event was held via a hybrid online and offline meeting. Prof. Junfeng Wang, Prof. Bo Gao, leaders of institutes, some teachers and postgraduates participated in the offline activities, and other teachers and postgraduates of the college participated through the online meeting. The seminar is chaired by Prof. Bo Gao.

This seminar has invited a total of 13 speakers, which are young teachers who joined the college in 2021 and teachers from overseas visits. They are Yannan Wang, Yongchao Zhang, Ziyi Shao, Guosong Ni, Yanxia Fu, Min Du, Lu Liu, Lei Zhou, Lin Long, Shun Liu, Haiyan Zhang, Hao Chen, Sirong He. 13 speakers carry out research on biomass, advanced energy storage technology, complex flow, fluid machinery, enhanced heat transfer, new energy utilization, and aerospace. During the event, the participants have deep exchanges and discussions.

The seminar for young teachers has become an important platform for academic exchanges in the school, providing opportunities for young teachers in different fields to know and cooperate each other. This can promote the output of high-quality scientific research and create a good scientific research atmosphere for the research-oriented school.
