On June 15, the school held a symposium for ethnic minority students in the first conference room. Liu Qing, deputy secretary of the party committee of the school, Qi Hong, executive deputy director of cares for the next generation working committee, Yu Xiuxiang and Pa timan and representatives of minority students from the class of 2022 participated in the event. The activity was hosted by counselor Zhang Chi.

At the symposium, students shared and exchanged views on the characteristics of their hometown, study and life, interpersonal interactions, and adaptation situations. Teachers considered the students' situations and provided guidance on academic planning, professional learning, school discipline and rules, community construction, etc. The students are encouraged to provide suggestions for schools, colleges, and teachers and to actively face difficulties and proactively find ways to solve problems. Liu Qing concluded his speech by encouraging the students to be models of national unity, of harmonious campus construction, and of youth in the new era.

This symposium has enhanced the communication and exchange between the college and minority students. The college will continue to do refined management and targeted assistance, truly put the work into the hearts of students, and protect the growth and success of minority students. We will further strengthen the consciousness of the Chinese nation's community so that the flower of national unity will always bloom and flourish.
