On March 28, Elsevier publishing company officially released the 2022 "China's Highly Cited Scholars" list. A total of 5,216 scholars from 504 universities, scientific research institutions and enterprises across the country were selected. Among them, a total of 22 people were selected from Jiangsu University, including Professor Liu Yangxian from the school.

The 2022 "China Highly Cited Researchers" list systematically shows the current distribution of cutting-edge talents in the field of scientific research, focuses on the echelon of highly sophisticated talents in the field, presents to a certain extent the composition of the dominant disciplines of various scientific research institutions, universities, and enterprises, and empower technological development and social progress with forward-looking insights and analysis in a global perspective.
