On July 23, 2024, the signing and unveiling ceremony of the "Aviation High-performance Fuel Centrifugal Pump and System Joint Technology Center (UTC)" jointly built by AECC Guizhou Honglin Aviation Power Control Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as AECC Honglin) and Jiangsu University was successfully held in Jiangsu University. More than 20 people, including Han Yongjian, Deputy Chief Engineer and Director of Product Design Institute of AECC Honglin, Li Zhaoqing, Director of Scientific Research Department, Liu Weiwu, Chief Professional Engineer, Zhou Li, Chief Professional Engineer, Hu Wenjia, Deputy Chief Engineer of Model, Zhang Sheng, Director of Gas Turbine Room, Wang Shaohua, Director of Industry-University-Research Cooperation Office of Jiangsu University, Pan Jianfeng, Dean of the School of Energy and Power Engineering, Gao Bo, Vice Dean and relevant teacher representatives, attended the unveiling ceremony, which was presided over by Dean Pan Jianfeng.

Wang Shaohua, Director of the Industry-University-Research Cooperation Office, delivered a welcome speech, welcoming all the visitors of AECC Honglin and expressing his heartfelt thanks to AECC Honglin for its long-term care and support to Jiangsu University. He pointed out that the establishment of UTC is a major event in the development of the university's industry-university-research career, which can open a new chapter for the "strong alliance" of the two sides, and hopes that after the establishment of UTC, the two sides can continue to strengthen cooperation and exchanges, and jointly carry out organized scientific research for the major national needs in the field of aero engines.

Han Yongjian, deputy chief engineer, introduced the basic situation of AECC Honglin, and earnestly hoped that the two sides could take the establishment of the UTC innovation platform as an opportunity to further strengthen cooperation and exchanges, and give full play to their respective advantages and seek common development around the key technical issues in aviation high-performance fuel centrifugal pumps and systems, the transformation of scientific research achievements, and talent training, so as to build a first-class and industry-leading UTC in China.

Subsequently, Han Yongjian and Wang Shaohua signed a strategic agreement on the joint technology center on behalf of both parties, and jointly unveiled the establishment of the center.

After the ceremony, Zhang Sheng, director of the gas turbine room, introduced the organization of UTC and read out the "Management Measures for the Construction and Operation of the Joint Technology Center for Aviation High-performance Fuel Centrifugal Pumps and Systems" and the list of UTC members. Vice Dean Gao Bo introduced the cooperation between industry, university and research in UTC, and the two sides conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on the establishment and development prospects of UTC.

The establishment of the "Aviation High-performance Fuel Centrifugal Pump and System Joint Technology Center" will further deepen the exchanges and cooperation between Jiangsu University and AECC Honglin, open up new fields and create new opportunities for the discipline construction, scientific research, talent training and other related disciplines of our university, and provide a new innovation platform for our university to serve the major national needs in the field of aero engines.
