On May 20, the "China International College Student Innovation Competition (2024)" lecture of the School of Energy and Power Engineering and the guidance lecture on innovation and entrepreneurship education practice and competition guidance for young teachers were held in the lecture hall of the lecture hall. The event was presided over by Yin Xing, Secretary of the Youth League Committee of the college, and Professor Han Zhi, the commissioner of the college's entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship activities, the national outstanding innovation and entrepreneurship mentor of the Ministry of Education, the outstanding instructor of the National Challenge Cup Competition, and the advanced individual of national college entrepreneurship education, and more than 50 young teachers and students participated in the assistant teaching period of the college.

First of all, Mr. Yin Xing introduced the good development trend of discipline competitions in our school in recent years, and emphasized the importance of discipline competitions for the development and construction of disciplines. He encouraged everyone to be fully prepared, have the courage to work hard, forge ahead, and strive for new breakthroughs.

Subsequently, Professor Han Zhi gave a speech on the topic of "Interpretation of China International College Student Innovation Competition (2024)". In the report, he introduced the development of the competition, the requirements for participation, the grouping, the evaluation rules, etc., and elaborated on the preparation process of an excellent work, the direction of topic selection, team characteristics, text writing, and the key points of the award. He also pointed out the common difficulties and precautions of the participating teams in the process of polishing their works.

Sponsored by the Ministry of Education, the China International College Student Innovation Competition is currently the largest, highest-level and most influential innovation and entrepreneurship competition in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship of Chinese college students. This lecture and training lecture greatly stimulated the enthusiasm of teachers and students to participate in the competition, promoted the cultivation of students' innovative spirit, entrepreneurial consciousness and entrepreneurial ability, and improved the guidance level of young teachers' innovation and entrepreneurship education practice and competition.
