At 4 p.m. on May 17th, the School held a preparation and guidance meeting for the Career Planning Competition in the second conference room of the Energy Building. The conference invited Xu Yang, a teacher from the Student Career Guidance and Service Center, as the keynote speaker to give guidance to the representatives of all grades of the college.
Mr. Xu first started from the connotation of career, emphasizing that career planning should pay attention to the connotation of "life" and "career". Then, from the perspectives of national needs, economic and social development needs, personal values, and interest characteristics, students were guided to choose career goals more scientifically and effectively, clarify career development goals, and enhance employment competitiveness. Then, Mr. Xu introduced the overview and significance of the Career Planning Competition in detail, and explained the scoring criteria of the competition and the ideas of writing works to the students. Finally, Mr. Xu showed the outstanding entries to the students, dissected the award-winning works from the aspects of logic, text, and art, and encouraged the students to actively participate in the competition and prepare carefully.
The School will also take the career planning competition as an opportunity to help strengthen students' awareness of career planning, clarify development goals, clarify development paths, and comprehensively improve the professional quality and employability of our students.
