On November 12, the Wukesong Forum was held in the 1417 lecture hall of the Energy Building, and Professor Dai Liming was invited to give a special lecture entitled "On the Research Progress of Zero-carbon/Low-carbon Fuels in the Context of 'Double Carbon'".
More than 150 undergraduate and graduate students attended the lecture. The lecture was presided over by Mr. Zhao Jun.
Since China put forward the "dual carbon" goal at the 75th session of the United Nations General Assembly in 2020, it has steadily promoted the green and low-carbon transformation of energy, continued to promote the optimization and upgrading of the industrial structure, and made more and more affordable renewable energy technologies make electricity free of the track on the road to net zero emissions. In areas where direct electric drive is difficult, electric synthetic fuels will play an important role. Professor Dai Liming started from the physical and chemical characteristics and advantages and disadvantages of common zero-carbon and low-carbon fuels, and explained the preparation, application and promotion of zero-carbon/low-carbon fuels. The research progress introduces the latest progress and cutting-edge technologies in the current international research on zero-carbon/low-carbon fuels, and discusses how to promote social awareness and action on zero-carbon/low-carbon fuels through education, publicity and policy guidance.
Professor Dai gave a rich and vivid report to the students in easy-to-understand language, popularized the relevant knowledge of zero-carbon/low-carbon fuels, deeply realized the importance of zero-carbon/low-carbon fuels, and played a role in the students' learning and scientific research
Very good guidance. The students have said that they have benefited a lot, and as active students, they should strengthen their ideals and beliefs, consolidate their professional knowledge, and contribute to the construction of an energy power.
