In order to do a good job in the application of the 2025 National Natural Science Foundation of China and improve the number and quality of the application of the fund projects, on the afternoon of October 23, the 2025 National Natural Science Foundation of China Application Kick-off Meeting of the School of Energy and Technology was successfully held in Millennium Lecture Hall 1417. Professor Pan Jianfeng, Dean of the school, attended the meeting and gave a keynote report, and the directors, teachers and graduate students of various research institutes attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Professor Gao Bo, Vice Dean.

Professor Pan Jianfeng encouraged researchers to pursue new breakthroughs in major projects; In the application process, researchers should systematically think about the condensation of scientific problems from unique perspectives, new mechanisms, new strategies to the final application breakthrough. The new situation of fund application, the impact on teachers' personal development, fund application skills, and precautions were explained in detail.

Gao Bo introduced the application and approval of the fund last year, the arrangement of the fund application in 2025, scientific research integrity and academic misconduct. He emphasized that the National Natural Science Foundation of China is an important support for the discipline construction and scientific research innovation of the school, and hoped that all research institutes and teams will strengthen their organizations, further improve the quality of the fund book, and increase the funding rate of the fund projects.

The convening of this kick-off meeting marks the official start of the 2025 National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) application of the School of Energy, and the school will organize a series of application assistance and guidance to promote the high-quality development of basic research of our college!
