Date:December 10, 2024 View:

In order to thoroughly summarize the work experience of professional certification, clarify the direction of improvement, and promote the continuous improvement of the construction and teaching quality of new energy science and engineering majors, the summary meeting of new energy science and engineering professional certification was successfully held at 10:00 on December 9 in the first conference room of the College of Energy. Professor Wang Shuang, vice president of the School of Energy, and all teachers of new energy attended. The supervision team of the Academic Affairs Office also participated in the event and provided on-site guidance. The event was presided over by Mr. Feng Yongqiang, director of the Department of New Energy.

Vice President Wang Shuang first systematically introduced the overall situation of the on-site inspection of new energy science and engineering professional certification from December 4th to 5th, and clarified the direction and key tasks of rectification work in response to the opinions and suggestions put forward by certification experts. Vice President Wang pointed out that the feedback on this certification provides a valuable reference for professional construction and points out the direction of efforts for follow-up work. Subsequently, Mr. Feng Yongqiang conducted a comprehensive and in-depth analysis around the core three elements of engineering certification. He particularly emphasized the importance of establishing a closed-loop mechanism of "evaluation-feedback-improvement", and combined with the feedback of certification experts, he made detailed arrangements for the optimization of training objectives, the improvement of the curriculum system and the improvement of curriculum evaluation standards. In addition, Mr. Feng also put forward constructive suggestions for the future development of new energy science and engineering in the "15th Five-Year Plan" based on national policies and industry development trends, and clarified the long-term goals and implementation paths of professional development. In the specific work deployment link, Mr. Li Xiang gave a detailed explanation of the logic, hierarchy and practicality of the curriculum system, and put forward constructive suggestions for further optimizing the curriculum structure. Teacher Su Wenjia and Teacher Han Xinyue elaborated on the planning and compilation of teaching materials based on the teaching needs in the field of solar energy, and proposed to improve the scientific and cutting-edge teaching content through the construction of high-quality teaching materials. From the perspective of practical teaching, Teacher He Sirong and Teacher Qian Lili put forward innovative ideas around project design and implementation, and explored ways to improve students' comprehensive ability and engineering literacy through diversified project content and implementation mode. In the free discussion session, the participating teachers had a heated discussion on the training objectives, curriculum system and specific issues in engineering certification. Everyone actively made suggestions and put forward a series of practical improvement measures. The three supervisory experts of the Academic Affairs Office combined with the suggestions of the certification experts to provide detailed guidance on the construction of the major from the aspects of professional characteristic positioning, curriculum system optimization and evaluation standard improvement, providing scientific suggestions and practical paths for the further development of the major.

At the end of the meeting, Mr. Song Xinnan made a concluding speech. He fully affirmed the importance of this teaching and research activity, emphasizing that the new energy science and engineering major should have distinctive characteristics, closely integrate the national strategy and industry needs, and maintain a clear logic and coherent context in the construction of the curriculum system, the optimization of evaluation standards and the integration of teaching resources, so as to ensure the systematic and forward-looking construction of the major.

The teaching and research activities were substantial, in-depth discussions, and remarkable results. Through the condensation of collective wisdom, the specific direction of professional certification improvement is clarified, which lays a solid foundation for the future development of new energy science and engineering majors, and also provides a strong guarantee for further improving the quality of teaching.
