To implement the "Implementation Measures for the Teaching System for Young Teacher Assistants at Jiangsu University" and ensure the quality of evaluation, on the afternoon of May 30, 2025, the School of Energy and Power held a college-level assessment and trial lecture for young teacher assistants in the Second Conference Room of the Energy and Power Building. Professor Wang Shuang, Dean of the School, served as the head of the assessment panel, with Professor Liu Dong and Associate Professor Xu Weixing from the Department of Energy and Power as panel members. Young teacher Sun Siliang participated in the trial lecture, while other teacher assistants in training attended as observers.

During the trial lecture, Professor Sun displayed a clear teaching plan and well-structured lesson design, demonstrating strong teaching skills and classroom management. After the lecture, the three reviewers on the assessment panel provided candid and professional feedback and suggestions in areas such as appearance and demeanor, verbal expression, course design, PPT production, and teacher-student interaction. They unanimously agreed that, through the accumulated experience during the training period, the teaching level had significantly improved, meeting the objectives for each stage of the training and fully preparing the teacher to confidently lead a classroom.

This assessment and trial lecture activity serves as a comprehensive review of the progress of teacher assistants during their training period and also provides a valuable opportunity for young teachers to learn and exchange experiences. (School of Energy and Power)
