To implement the "Implementation Measures for the Teaching System for Young Teacher Assistants at Jiangsu University" and ensure the quality of the assessment, on the morning of November 25, 2025, the School of Energy and Power held a college-level assessment trial teaching activity for young teacher assistants in the Smart Classroom of the Energy and Power Building. Professor Wang Shuang, Dean of the School, served as the head of the assessment panel, with Professor Liu Dong and Associate Professor Wang Xiaoying from the Department of Energy and Power as panel members. Young teachers Zhang Wei and Liu Xin participated in the trial teaching, while other young teachers attended to observe.

During the trial teaching, both teachers presented clear teaching ideas, and the design of classroom activities was scientific and reasonable, demonstrating good teaching skills and classroom management capabilities. After the lessons, the three expert reviewers on the assessment panel provided detailed feedback from the perspectives of teaching demeanor, language expression, course design, presentation effectiveness, and classroom interaction quality, offering objective and professional suggestions. The review panel unanimously agreed that through the systematic training during the assistant teaching period, the teaching abilities of the two teachers had significantly improved, achieving the training objectives at each stage and laying a solid foundation for independently handling classroom teaching in the future.

This assessment trial teaching activity served as a comprehensive review of the training progress for teachers during their assistant teaching period and also provided young teachers an opportunity to learn and exchange experiences. (School of Energy and Power)
