To thoroughly implement the overall national security concept and welcome the 11th National Security Education Day, recently, the School of Energy and Power Engineering carried out a series of national security education activities under the theme 'Coordinating Development and Security to Safeguard the New Journey of the 15th Five-Year Plan.'

On April 14, the School, in collaboration with the College of Agricultural Engineering and the College of Life Sciences, organized a themed movie-watching event, jointly viewing the national security-themed film "Silent Awakening." The film, based on real cases, showcases the covert struggles on the national security front, highlights risks in the non-traditional security field, and vividly presents the close connection between national security and individuals, society, and the country. During the screening, teachers and students were fully engaged, deeply realizing that national security is no trivial matter and that protecting it is the duty and responsibility of every citizen.

On the same day, the school's Youth League Committee also organized an indoor learning + outdoor practice themed education activity. Through theoretical study and on-site learning at the campus security office, the concept of national security was brought into the campus and conveyed to every teacher and student. On April 15, the school additionally arranged for students to watch the live broadcast of the nationwide ideological and political lecture "Overall National Security Concept" for students of all levels, further strengthening the campus security defense.

This series of educational activities served as a vivid and profound compulsory course on national security. Through immersive and diversified educational forms, it helped teachers and students deepen their understanding of the overall national security concept, build a consensus on national security, and effectively improve awareness and capacity to prevent and resolve security risks.
