To deepen the integration of Party building with industry-education collaboration and promote mutual empowerment between universities and enterprises, making full use of the enterprise's industrial technology resources as well as the university's talent and research resources, on the morning of May 27, Kang Can, Party Secretary of the School of Energy and Power Engineering at Jiangsu University, led 12 members of the First Faculty Party Branch of the Energy and Power Department to visit Changzhou Scientific Research and Testing Center Co., Ltd. (Changzhou Kesi Group) for a themed Party Day activity and also held a signing and unveiling ceremony for the 'Jiangsu University Teaching Practice Base.' Wang Meilin, Vice President of Changzhou Kesi Group, General Manager and Party Secretary of the Kesi Center, along with other company leaders including Shi Fahui, Deputy General Manager of the Kesi Center and Director of the Research Institute, warmly received and participated in the event.

The university and enterprise had a discussion and exchange in Conference Room 319 of the Kesi Center. Wang Meilin, on behalf of Changzhou Kesi Group, welcomed the branch members and gave a detailed introduction to the company’s development history, Party building initiatives, core business, and strengths in auxiliary coal mining transportation equipment. He also expressed the company’s willingness to carry out strategic cooperation with Jiangsu University in talent training, internships, research, and more. He noted that he hopes this Party Day activity can serve as an opportunity to promote resource sharing and collaborative development between the university and enterprise.

Kang Can introduced the history, Party work, and academic specialties of Jiangsu University’s School of Energy and Power Engineering, as well as its recent achievements in research and social services. He pointed out that this joint initiative is not only a substantial Party Day activity but also a lively example of the deep integration of Party building with business development. Afterwards, Party members visited the company's production workshop and product exhibition area. They focused on understanding the company's industrial layout in auxiliary coal mining transportation equipment and carefully heard technical staff introduce the core products, precision parts processing techniques, and the assembly process for complete machines. They also engaged in in-depth discussions with frontline engineers on technical challenges, precision control, and process optimization in manufacturing specialized power equipment.
Finally, with all participants witnessing, representatives from both sides signed agreements on industry-university-research cooperation and the teaching practice base, and unveiled the ‘Jiangsu University Teaching Practice Base.’ The official establishment of this base marks a substantive step in jointly building practical platforms and collaborative talent cultivation.
