Introduction: Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, expert in nuclear reactor and nuclear power engineering, deputy director of the Science and Technology Committee of China National Nuclear Corporation, director of the Expert Committee of China Nuclear Power Engineering Corporation. He graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University with a bachelor's degree in electric power engineering and from Moscow Power Engineering Institute in the Soviet Union. Mainly engaged in nuclear energy. In the 60s of the 20th century, Academician Ye participated in the design of China's first production reactor, and in the 70s of the 20th century, he participated in the design of the dual-purpose reactor for production and power generation, and served as the chief engineer. In the early 80s of the 20th century, he was the director of the Institute of Computer Application in the Nuclear Industry. In 1986, he began to prepare for the construction of Qinshan Phase II 600MW nuclear power plant project and served as the chief designer of the project. Qinshan Phase II was designed and built according to international standards, and successfully reached commercialization in 2002. From the bustling city to the northwest border, from the desert to the mountains, Academician Ye has left his hurried footprints on the front line of China's nuclear industry production and construction.
