On September 16, the energy conservation technology institute held an energy storage seminar. The event was chaired by Prof. Junfeng Wang, dean of the school of energy and power engineering. All the teachers at the institute participated in the event.

Prof. Junfeng Wang points out that the energy problem is one of the ten major problems facing mankind, involving national security and development strategies, and is closely related to the great rejuvenation of China. The development of the Institute and the academic research of young teachers must be based on national strategic policies and major needs, standing in the overall height, and planning the layout in advance. At the same time, Prof. Junfeng Wang gives guidance and suggestions to young teachers who encounter difficulties and problems in their work, scientific research and life. He encourages young teachers to combine the research direction during the doctoral period with the major national needs. Prof. Junfeng Wang helps young teachers find their development plans, so that they can do research peacefully and steadily.
This seminar focuses on the theme of energy storage and is divided into two parts. One is to learn and interpret relevant policies on carbon neutrality and energy storage, and the other is the report and exchange on energy storage technology and prospects.

At the meeting, vice dean Prof. Bin Li and Prof. Shan Zhong of the institute first explained the relevant policies of energy storage, introducing the research progress of energy storage in the world and China, as well as the relevant policies of the energy storage industry issued by governments. Subsequently, seven young teachers from the institute conducted reports and exchanges on heat storage, electricity storage, and energy storage safety.
