Charged Multiphase Flow Team Participated in the Annual Meeting of the Chinese Society of Engineering Thermophysics for Multiphase Flow

From November 8th to 10th, the Annual Conference of Multiphase Flow of the Chinese Society of Engineering Thermophysics and the National Natural Science Foundation of China Multiphase Flow Project Exchange Conference were successfully held in Tianjin. The conference has been held for 28 consecutive times, and it is the highest academic conference in the field of multiphase flow in China. The conference was hosted by the Chinese Society of Engineering Thermophysics, undertaken by Hebei University of Technology, co-organized by Tianjin Renewable Energy Society, and supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. Academician Jin Hongguang, Chairman of the Chinese Society of Engineering Thermophysics, Academician Guo Liejin, Vice President of the Chinese Society of Engineering Thermophysics and Director of the Multiphase Flow Branch, and Professor Han Xu, Secretary of the Party Committee of Hebei University of Technology, were invited to attend. The conference set up a total of 9 topics, such as gas-liquid two-phase flow and boiling heat and mass transfer, and 2 forums on artificial intelligence multiphase flow and marine resource development multiphase flow, and simultaneously collected popular science works in the field of multiphase flow. During the meeting, the progress exchange meeting of the National Natural Science Foundation of China in the field of multiphase flow was also held.

In this meeting, more than 30 teachers and students from the charged multiphase flow team of Jiangsu University participated in the meeting, and 22 oral reports were made. Among them, Professor Wang Junfeng made an exchange report on the final topic of the project "Research on Multiphase Flow and Enhanced Heat Transfer Mechanism in Electrostatic Microspray Cooling Process" at the meeting; Associate Professor Zhan Shuiqing of the team presided over the sub-session of gas-solid two-phase flow and low-carbon clean combustion; Associate Professor Tian Jiameng presided over the emerging cross-phase flow sub-session; Associate Professor Li Bin presided over the session on mathematical models and numerical methods of multiphase flow; Associate Professor Hai Wang and Associate Professor Kai Yu were invited to give invited reports entitled "Research on the Strengthening Mechanism of Surface Boiling of Porous Media under High Voltage Electrostatic Field" and "Controllable Interfacial Self-assembly of Nanoparticles and Efficient Construction of Adhesive Nanoemulsions". In addition, a number of teachers and graduate students of the team made oral reports, showing the team's recent research results to peer experts, and also exercising the ability of academic communication. During the conference, Associate Professor Tian Jiameng's work won the "Best Interdisciplinary Award for Popular Science Works"; Associate Professor Yu Kai's work won the "Best Nature Seeking Award for Popular Science Works"; Associate Professor Wang Jue's work won the "Best Principle Insight Award for Popular Science Works".

Through this conference, the teachers and students of the college fully demonstrated the characteristics of the research direction of charged multiphase flow, expanded the academic influence of the scientific research team, and also learned about the latest progress of the domestic multiphase flow academic community, and strengthened the communication and exchange with brother universities and research institutes.
