Introduction
There are currently 12 full-time personnel, including 5 professors, 4 associate professors, 1 academic leader of the “Blue Project” of Jiangsu Province and 1 technology leader of the “333 Project” in Jiangsu Province.
The institute has been focused on the field of the basic theory of gas-liquid fuel combustion, the development of high-efficiency and low-pollution combustion equipment and power machinery equipment, aero-engine ignition and combustion, micro-scale heat transfer and combustion, automotive thermal management and optimal control, transport processes and chemical reaction mechanisms in the growth of semiconductor materials. More than 50 projects including the National Natural Science Foundation Project, and the Natural Science Foundation of Jiangsu Province had been completed by the institute with a research funding of over eight million yuan. Popularization and application and typical cases are: diesel mechanism improvement; common rail injection system; rotor engine; rotating detonation engine; micro burner; car radiator design software; battery constant temperature cooling unit; battery module liquid cooling plate; automotive air conditioning performance optimization, etc.

Representative Research
The research team has published over three hundred high-level journal papers, including Phys Fluid, Exp. Fluids, Chem. Eng. J., Int. J Heat Mass Transfer, Energy, Fuel, Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews, Applied energy and Energy Conversion and Management, etc. 4 PCT international invention patent and more than 50 national invention patents were authorized, 1 natural science second prize of the Ministry of Education and 1 third prize of scientific and technological progress of Jiangsu Province were obtained.
