Introduction
There are currently 8 full-time personnel, including 3 professors, 2 associate professors, 3 Lecturer, 1 young academic leader of the “Blue Project”, and 1 six talent peaks project in Jiangsu Province.
The institute conducts fundamental and applied researches in the field of aerospace propulsion, aerospace vehicle/detector thermal management and turbulence resistance reduction. The institute has established cooperation relationship with the ninth Aerospace Institute, CLP 58 Institute, E&E Turbo, and Huawei Technologies. Scientific research works on aero-engine combustion and two-phase detonation theory, thermal management and thermal insulation technologies of electronic devices for aerospace vehicles, complex fluid dynamics, turbulence drag reduction, and the CFD algorithm, have been conducted. More than 20 projects including the National Natural Science Foundation Project, the Project of Jiangsu Natural Science Foundation, and the Jiangsu university scientific and technological achievements transformation project, have been completed by the institute with a research funding of over three million yuan.
